Current status
KIOPTRIX MICROTOOLS currently serves no AdSense ads and does not load the GA4 tracking library. A GA4 property is connected for preparation, but Site Kit code insertion and custom event sending remain off. Choosing a preference here does not activate them.
Necessary website functions
WordPress uses authentication and security cookies for signed-in administrators. Language pages have direct English and Korean URLs. The hosting service receives ordinary HTTP requests and may retain security or access logs. Log and backup retention, processing locations and the remaining legal disclosures still require review. The operator and verified contact details are listed on Contact.
Your browser preference
Privacy settings stores kmt_privacy_choice_v1 in localStorage only after you save a necessary-only choice. The record contains a policy version, saved timestamp, and denied statistics/marketing preferences. It expires after 180 days; the next visit removes an expired record. Clear it in Privacy settings or browser site data. No unique visitor identifier is created.
Searches, forms and original tools
Search terms appear in the request URL so the server can return results. Do not put sensitive information into searches. Contact provides a direct email link. There is no on-site message form; email is handled by the sending and receiving mail services. Original-tool links go to separate websites from the same creator; their storage and data processing must be checked separately.
Before optional services start
Advertising or analytics activation requires an updated notice, a verified privacy contact and appropriate consent controls. Consent Mode defaults are denied. The current preference control is not a Google-certified CMP or IAB TCF solution. Personalized advertising in the EEA, UK or Switzerland will require a suitable certified CMP and TCF implementation.
Language preference cookie
Anonymous response-header checks confirmed the first-party pll_language cookie from Polylang, storing the selected language with an expiry of approximately one year. It is separate from analytics and advertising. Browser cookie controls can remove it; direct /en/ and /ko/ links remain available. The necessary-only preference does not remove this language cookie.
